Park Hill spans zip codes 80207 and 80220 and encompasses homes built from the 1910s through the 1980s. Early Park Hill homes have plaster walls and high ceilings. Mid-century homes have drywall and flatter profiles. Homes from the 1970s and early 1980s often have textured walls that must be skim-coated before wallpaper can go up.
Historic and Mid-Century Homes
The historic core of Park Hill — the blocks closest to City Park — contains Denver’s finest Mission Revival, Colonial Revival, and Tudor homes. These older homes require specialist wallpaper installation: proper plaster assessment, careful removal of previous layers, and precise work around period woodwork.
East Park Hill
East Park Hill’s slightly newer housing stock (1950s–1970s) presents different challenges — drywall in varying condition, textured surfaces, and the need for careful surface prep before installation. We assess every wall honestly and never skip the preparation that makes the final install look right.

Wallpaper Installation in Park Hill Denver: Northeast Denver’s Hidden Gem
Park Hill Denver — not to be confused with the Park Hill suburb — is one of Denver’s oldest and most architecturally interesting northeastern neighborhoods. The housing runs from 1900s–1920s Craftsman bungalows and Colonial revival homes to 1940s–50s brick construction. Like Capitol Hill and the Highlands, the original homes here have plaster walls and the character that comes from a century of accumulated detail.
The area around 23rd Avenue and Montview Boulevard has some of the grandest homes in the neighborhood — two-story brick colonials and Tudor revivals with formal dining rooms, paneled libraries, and sunrooms that are ideal wallpaper spaces. Further east toward Colorado Boulevard the scale shrinks to bungalows and smaller Tudors, but the character is equally strong.
